Choosing the right board size

To start with, we recommend a deck width of 8.0". Most full-sized complete skateboards will come in either 8.0" or 8.25" widths, this is the right size to start with, as your experience grows you'll know if you need a wider board later on.

Deck width of 8.25" and up is common choice for skaters who ride pool, vert, or transitions as a wider deck adds stability and confidence for speeding.

If you wear shoes 9.5 or larger, we recommend getting a deck between 8.0" and 8.5". In general, skaters who like flip tricks, manuals, ledges, flat bars and technical tricks usually prefer boards on the narrower side of the spectrum (8.0" – 8.25").
